Electric Bikes Take Center Stage at CABDA West in Del Mar, California

DEL MAR, CA — The CABDA West bicycle industry show hit the Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California for the second year on January 15-16, sporting over 200 exhibitors occupying 85,000 square feet.

Nearly 2,000 attendees visited the bicycle industry show from 585 bicycle shops.

The electric bicycle segment was well represented with a number of brands showing their newest models, including e-Bikes from Aventon, Bagi Bike, Batch, Bosch, Bulls, Dahon, GoCycle, iGo, Haro, Linus and Magnum. New eBikes from Aventon, Brose, BULLS, Emery, Haro, & Intense at the Sea Otter Classic [VIDEOS]

The Sea Otter Classic is the big spring cycling party of the year and 2019 was a good year with many new eBikes on display and available for test rides. 

The Sea Otter Classic is a celebration of cycling with racing (road, mountain, cyclocross, eMTB), rides, exhibitors, test rides, music, food & drinks, and more.

It is held at the famous Laguna Seca Raceway each year near Monterey, California. 

Below are just some of the new eBikes from Aventon, Brose, BULLS, Emery, Haro, & Intense that were at the Sea Otter Classic.

VIDEOS of 2019 eBikes: Fantic, Haibike, Haro, Magnum, Rayvolt, & Tern.

In this continuing coverage of the 2019 eBikes from Interbike we have the latest and greatest from Fantic, Haro, Haibike, Magnum, Rayvolt, & Tern.

Fantic showed off their 29″/26″ wheel XF1 eMTB and their new eRoad with the Fazua battery & motor combo that can be quickly removed.

Haibike has the latest Sduron, Xduro and Nduro eBikes and they showed a preview of their 2020 prototype of the Flyon eBike with the new high torque TQ mid-drive motor system.

Haro showed off their latest updates to the eMTB line that features the Shimano STEPS mid-drive systems.

Magnum’s line up features a new eCargo bike, step thru commuter style ebikes, an eFat cruiser, and a line up of eFolders. 

Rayvolt has a number of vintage style electric cruiser bikes with high-tech features that can fine tune the ride characteristics.

Tern has updated some of the GSD eCargo features and added a bunch of accessory options. Their Vektron eFolding bikes have also been updated with a new battery location and sturdy cargo rack with many accessory options.
