In this continuing coverage of the 2019 eBikes from Interbike we have the latest and greatest from Bafang, Hase, Riese & Muller, Univega, & Yamaha.
Bafang featured their new M800 compact mid drive system that blends in well with the overall look of the road style bikes they had on display.
Hase showed off their recumbent electric trikes that use the Shimano STEPS mid-drive system. One trike is designed for off road riding with full suspension and a differential! They also had a recumbent eTandem on display.
Riese & Muller had a number of new updates to their line up with some full suspension eCommuter/Trekking style bikes and their new mid-tail eCargo bike.
Univega is a long time conventional bicycle brand that is now jumping into eBikes with a lightweight eCommuter and more models on the way.
Yamaha showed off their new Wabash bike that is designed for road and gravel road riding.
Bafang introduced their new compact M800 mid drive system at Interbike 2018 in Reno Nevada. This compact motor and battery cleanly integrates with the bike for a very clean look and overall lightweight eBike.
Hase Recumbent eTrikes & eTandems
Here is a look at the Hase electric recumbent trikes and eTandems that feature the Shimano STEPS mid drive systems. Also include is an off-road recumbent trike with full suspension and a differential!
Riese & Muller eCargo, eCommuter, eMTB, eTouring
The 2019 Riese & Muller ebike line up includes their eCommuter/eTrekking bikes that include full suspension models. There are the eMTB R&M bikes that are good for long distance off road adventures. Their eCargo bike line up includes front loading bikes as well as their new mid tail eCargo.
2019 Univega Electric Bikes
Univega is now getting into electric bikes! Chris Dupuis from Univega shows off their Grand Tech eCommuter that has downtube battery integration along with a compact motor for an eBike that looks very much like a conventional bike. Chris also notes 2 other models that Univega will launching later and some news about a partnership with Panasonic that will be announced at CES 2019.
Yamaha Wabash Electric Gravel Bike
Drew Engelmann from Yamaha shows off their latest eGravel bike called the Wabash. This is a road style bike that has off road tires and other features that make it a good on and off road eBike.
