Surface 604 Rook Electric Bike Review Part 1 – Pictures & Specs

The new Surface 604 Rook step-thru eCommuter bike has arrived for testing and review!

With its easy get on and ride step-thru design and upright ride position the Rook is a comfortable eBike for zipping around town. 

Some of the feature highlights are a torque sensor pedal assist system in addition to throttle assisting up to 20 mph along with two battery options.

Component highlights include a 500 watt (750 watt peak) Bafang geared rear hub motor, 48V 10.4ah battery (+optional 14ah extended range battery), Tektro Auriga hydraulic disc brakes, Shimano Alivio 9 speed drivetrain, and a full assortment of accessories. 

The $1,999 base price includes free shipping and the optional extended range battery adds $200.

Propella V3.2 (7 Speed) Electric Bike Review Part 2: Ride & Range Test [VIDEO]

The new Propella V3.2 (7 speed) is a lightweight, fun, and lively eBike with a performance ride feel that offers a lot of value. 

At 38.3 pounds this is one of the lighter electric bikes on the market and the single speed version is around 36 pounds!

You can feel really that in its riding performance along with how easy it is to pick up and move around. 

The 3.2 has an impressive spec of quality components from Bafang, Samsung, Shimano, and Kenda

Like other Propella versions, the 3.2 is very lightweight eBike at 38 pounds and it features the new upgraded 36V 7ah lithium battery with Samsung cells.
