On a truly spectacular note, the German team behind Pedelec Adventures has just completed their USA trip after 3,100 miles in the saddle on Haibike S-duro e-bikes.

One of the problems for ebikes is this: They can spend months inactive, and that is not good for batteries. And a dead battery, damaged by misuse or neglect, is both expensive and frustrating.

New E-Bike Launches
Dutch e-bike manufacturer Gazelle has publicised what it sees as the future of e-bikes in the shape of the carbon fibre-framed No1.
Currently a one-off, with many parts hand made, the No.1 is perhaps most notable for its COBI interface and lighting system, undoubtedly one of the smartest of ‘smart’ devices for e-bikes.

Bosch Releases 2017 Update Details
German e-bike giant Bosch has just announced its latest developments to its market leading system. There will now be the option on future models to have two batteries (two frame batteries or a frame and a rack battery) and both will be chargeable at once using the same charger.

German e-bike maker Focus launched in the US last year and intriguing info is surfacing about a new lightweight motor system they may to be gearing up to launch. News from the French alpine resort of Morzine has revealed a ‘Project Y e-bike’ with an amazingly sleek battery and motor design all in the downtube. The Denver Electric Bike Expo was the hot spot to be for riding the latest electric bikes, winning eBikes, and learning about eBike adventure tours!
And I mean truly mean hot spot because the temps were pushing towards 100 degrees!
Even with that, attendees of the Expo were out riding a wide variety of eBikes on the test track and learning about the bikes from the company reps.
