eBiking with Artificial Hearts: The Cranks Electric Cycling Club

Last week a group of four men with artificial hearts completed a 27 mile ride on e-bikes on the Dark Peak 3 Reservoirs Cycle Trail in the UK Peak District.

Collectively they call themselves The Cranks Electric Cycling Club and regularly ride 20-30 miles together.

They are either waiting for new hearts or enjoying life to the max with no hope of one.

Bamboo eBike & Trike Testing on the Leeds-Bradford Cycle Superhighway

EBR recently catalogued great examples of cycle infrastructure from around the world and the Leeds-Bradford cycle superhighway received a brief mention.

This leading example of cycle infrastructure recently clocked up it’s one millionth cycle trip since it opened in 2016.

DryCycle: Is it an eCar or an eBike? Test Ridden Around a UK ‘New Town’ [VIDEO]

We first reported on the DryCycle 4 wheeled enclosed “electric bike” in the Birmingham show report and it was definitely a highlight.

Electric bikes are inspiring many different types of eMobility and the DryCycle is one of the latest to hit the market.
