Well this may seem a little wacky but I am testing some studded snow tires. And yes, it does snow in Arizona!
It may be hard to believe but Flagstaff Arizona is at 7000 ft elevation and we tend to get a lot of snow in the winter.

Okay, here is the Hebb Electro Glide electric bike review! In a nut shell; this has to be one of the more “solid” e-bikes that I have tested. Hebb refers to their bikes as the “Affordable Luxury Bike” and it seems to be true.
I have ridden this bike for a couple of weeks up hills, on paved streets, down gravel paths, through snow and ice (I used studded snow tires 🙂 ), into headwinds, etc. The sometimes harsh conditions of Flagstaff Arizona have definitely put this electric bike to the test. Alright! It is time for the Revolve Business Casual electric bike review. I have been riding this bike for a couple of weeks and I want to share my thoughts on this comfortable e-bike with you.
The usual ride was my commute to work that has a couple large hills, paved paths, dirt paths, etc. My round trip commute is about 13 miles. I also ran a few errands around town on this bike. Electric bikes make a lot of sense for the individual person getting to and from their job and running errands; not to mention just having fun 🙂
They also make a lot of sense for large institutions like universities and colleges, large and small business, airports, hospitals, national and state parks, etc. Ebikes allow for a convenient way to get around campuses and towns while reducing emissions and in the end saving the organization money.

I have ridden many different bikes with the Bionx electric bike conversion kit and I have to say that it is probably the most refined ebike kit that you can buy.
To compare it to cars, it is like the Mercedes Benz of electric bike kits.
This is a review based on a number of rides on the Bionx electric bike kit. This is not an in depth review based on hundreds of miles of use, etc.
I just wanted to let you know what I think of the system based on some ride experiences.

Here is a fun ebike video that has some great points about electric biking in San Francisco. It is an ad for a shop in San Fran but it is so well done that I wanted to share it with you. It’s gotta a catchy tune too!
Ebikes make a lot of sense for a hilly city like San Francisco where normal bike commuting would be a sweaty endeavor! Don’t get me wrong, I think ebikes are great for all places, it’s just that for places that have a lot of hills and/or wind they make even more sense.

One of the coolest things about electric bikes is how easy it is to keep them running well and how easy it is to repair them. Cars these days are so complex that even people who used to work on their older cars are forced to take their newer cars to a mechanic for costly maintenance and repairs. Being able to maintain and repair your own e-bike is another way to save money and an advantage over costly car maintenance.
When I see the look on people’s faces after they have gone for an E bike test ride, they are almost always smiling. I think some people like the concept of an electric bike, but it’s not until they through a leg over one and go for a spin that they realized how much fun it can be!
It doesn’t matter if you are an avid cyclist or if you haven’t ridden a bicycle in years. The results are almost always the same. People are excited when they ride an E bike.

This is an older video, but the benefits they go over in the video summarize why electric bikes are a great alternative to driving a car!
There are a couple of things that I would like to point out in the video. This is an electric bike conversion kit that the Michael added to his existing bicycle. The kit might look a little “funky” because it is one of the older kits. Today’s conversion kits are a little cleaner.
He also states that he can go up to 35 mph. That speed is too high to be considered an electric bicycle in the US and other parts of the world. The speed limit in the U.S. and Canada is 20 mph and the speed limit in Europe and other parts of the world (with some exceptions) is 25 kmh or 15.5 mph.
