What and Who is Nano

This small motor system is designed around a very neat 2kg front wheel hub motor allied with their own ‘one-click’ bag set up which features a connector inside the bag, enabling a variety of batteries to be used to power the system including Bosch and Oregon power tool batteries.

Most Nano systems have been retro-fitted to Brompton folding bikes as the low weight and easily removable battery are both great design features to have on a folding bike. 

The Nano system was first put together by Tony Castles, a UK electronics engineer, in 2007 and the design has been updated several times in the interim to produce a slick, lightweight conversion that is available in twist, thumb or button control throttle versions.

How to Properly Clean & Lube Your Electric Bike Chain [VIDEO]

Keeping your chain clean is essential.

A clean chain will last a lot longer whereas a dirty chain will be noisy and prevent smooth gear shifting.

In the event that your chain falls off, a clean chain will not coat your hands in dirty black oil.

If you do nothing else to clean your bike after a ride, use a piece of cloth to wipe off any dirt and apply some fresh lube.

New Bosch eMTB Mode w/ eMTBs from Moustache, Lapierre, BULLS, Cannondale, Riese & Muller, KTM, Trek, IZIP, Haibike

Every year Bosch, Magura, and other bike companies get together in Sedona, AZ for the Magura Ride Camp to show off their latest products to journalists from all over the US.

This was the 13th annual Magura Ride Camp and it was good timing for the launch of the new Bosch eMTB mode!

eMTB mode automatically adjusts the Bosch power modes (Tour, Sport, Turbo) based on your pedal power so all you have to do is focus on your riding. Set it, forget it, and ride!
