Bosch Technical Certification Training at Electric Bike Expo Events

As part of their Technical Certification Tour, Bosch will be providing dealer training at all 6 of the 2016 Electric Bike Expo multi city test track events.

Bicycle dealers from around the country are invited to attend any of the Expo events to obtain their Bosch Technical Certification.

The Expo events are being held in Phoenix (AZ), San Diego (CA), Houston (TX), Palo Alto (CA), Portland (OR), and Denver (CO) from January to June of 2016. Here is a link to the schedule and location details for the Expo events.

The Electric Bike Expo presented by Bosch is a 6 month, 6 city tour focused on raising electric bike awareness for consumers, dealers, media, local government, and local businesses.

Attendees will be able to test ride over 50 different electric bikes on the test track and learn more about e-bikes from the sponsors and exhibitors of the Expo.

Bosch Technical Certification

This three-hour certification course will be taught by Bosch technicians in conjunction with regional service providers Magura (United States) and Live to Play Sports (Canada) and provide dealers with the experience and diagnostic tools necessary to service Bosch-equipped electric bikes in their shop.

The inclusion of a third fully equipped pavilion with a presentation stage and A/V setup at the Electric Bike Expo events will allow other companies to utilize the tent for events and promotions throughout each weekend.

Test Track & Brands

The 25,000 square foot closed loop outdoor test track, features specialized terrain to help highlight hill climbing capabilities and the nimble abilities of electric bikes that emulate the feel of a traditional bicycle.

Over 50 different electric bike models will be featured at the event and available for test rides. Joining Bosch will be the tour track sponsor Trek Bicycle, who is launching a new line of electric bikes throughout North America.

Additional brands who have signed on to showcase their bikes include A2B, BESV, Easy Motion, Felt Electric, Focus, Gazelle, Haibike, IZIP, Kalkhoff, Polaris, Raleigh, Stromer, Tempo, Xtracycle, and Yuba.

Company representatives will be present to inform each rider how to use the features as well as to answer questions about care and maintenance.

These brands will also be joined by equipment and accessory suppliers specializing in electric bike products.
