Do you like the idea of an electric bike, but find yourself being concerned with the range?  Is there an area of town that is not safe to ride your e-bike through?  Never fear, there is a solution to this; combining an electric bike with mass transit options!

Last week when I was in Portland Oregon, my wife and I stopped by the Kalkhoff USA headquarters. We were able to meet up with Geoff Wagner who is head of Kalkhoff USA and chat about their electric bikes and take a pair of Kalkhoff’s for a spin.

Review of the Hebb Electro Glide Electric Bike

Okay, here is the Hebb Electro Glide electric bike review!  In a nut shell; this has to be one of the more “solid” e-bikes that I have tested.  Hebb refers to their bikes as the “Affordable Luxury Bike” and it seems to be true.

I have ridden this bike for a couple of weeks up hills, on paved streets, down gravel paths, through snow and ice (I used studded snow tires 🙂 ), into headwinds, etc.  The sometimes harsh conditions of Flagstaff Arizona have definitely put this electric bike to the test. Review of the Revolve Business Casual Electric Bike

Alright!  It is time for the Revolve Business Casual electric bike review.  I have been riding this bike for a couple of weeks and I want to share my thoughts on this comfortable e-bike with you.

The usual ride was my commute to work that has a couple large hills, paved paths, dirt paths, etc.  My round trip commute is about 13 miles.  I also ran a few errands around town on this bike.  It has been through rain, snow, and nasty headwinds; all the fun conditions we can have in Flagstaff Arizona! Electric Bikes Make Sense for University Campuses!

Electric bikes make a lot of sense for the individual person getting to and from their job and running errands; not to mention just having fun 🙂

They also make a lot of sense for large institutions like universities and colleges, large and small business, airports, hospitals, national and state parks, etc.  Ebikes allow for a convenient way to get around campuses and towns while reducing emissions and in the end saving the organization money.

Bionx Electric Bike Kit Review

I have ridden many different bikes with the Bionx electric bike conversion kit and I have to say that it is probably the most refined ebike kit that you can buy.

To compare it to cars, it is like the Mercedes Benz of electric bike kits.

This is a review based on a number of rides on the Bionx electric bike kit.  This is not an in depth review based on hundreds of miles of use, etc.

I just wanted to let you know what I think of the system based on some ride experiences.
