EVELO Luna Electric Bike: Specs, Video & Pictures

The EVELO Luna recently arrived here at Electric Bike Report and I want to share some of the features of this step through mid drive electric bike with you.

The mid drive motor is one of the more unique features of this electric bike.  Mid drive motors provide power through the cranks of the bike to assist you with your pedaling efforts!

With that in mind the mid drive motor can take advantage of lower gears to climb hills and higher gears to go faster on the flat areas.  This is similar to a car; where the engine is shifted through the gears of the transmission.

The EVELO Luna is a commuter / comfortable recreational style electric bike that comes equipped with almost every accessory that you need to hit the road.

Fork:  SR Suntour NCX suspension fork

Motor:  Tonaro 250W brushless mid drive motor (at cranks)

Battery:  Lithium-ion 36 Volt 10 amp hour

Controller:  Throttle and/or pedal assist (low, medium, high).

Drivetrain:  Shimano Nexus 3 speed internally geared rear hub.  Option to upgrade to NuVinci N360 continuously variable hub.

Brakeset:  Tektro front V-brake, Shimano rear roller brake.

Accessories:  Fenders, front & rear LED lights (powered by the e-bike battery), cycle computer, rear rack, kickstand.
