Rad Power Bikes RadRunner Electric Bike Review Part 2: Ride & Range Test [VIDEO]

The RadRunner at its core is a fun and playful eBike to ride but it doesn’t stop there.

Rad Power Bikes RadRunner Electric Bike Review Part 1 – Pictures & Specs

The new Rad Power Bikes RadRunner electric utility bike is in for testing and review! 

According to Rad Power Bikes the RadRunner is part cargo bike and part moped.

As you will see, that is a pretty good description!


Some of the highlights are 3.3″ wide tires, low step-thru aluminum frame, and a bunch of accessory options including a Passenger Package.

EVELO Aries Mid-Drive Electric Bike Review Part 2: Ride & Range Test [VIDEO]

After many miles of testing the EVELO Aries Mid-Drive full suspension eBike it has proven to be a high performance eBike with a comfortable and stable ride feel.

The 4″ of front and rear suspension along with the 3″ wide tires really smooth out the road and make the Aries Mid-Drive a comfortable and stable bike to ride. 

The upright and easy going ride position further add to the comfortable ride style.

While the Aries Mid-Drive is a comfortable eBike it does have its wild side with the 750 watt Bafang mid-drive motor that powers through the enviolo continuously variable transmission system!

The EVELO Aries Mid-Drive is priced at $3,499.

Study: eBikers Get More Exercise than Traditional Cyclists & Use Cars Less

New research from the University of Zurich in Switzerland suggests that e-bike users are bigger in terms of Body Mass Index (BMI) but cycle further & get more exercise than traditional cyclists.

While this is a positive benefit for public health campaigns, city planners should also take note: e-bikers use their cars less too.

Lead researcher Dr Alberto Castro Fernández is a civil engineer with an interest in active mobility such as cycling and walking.
