Xtracycle Edgerunner 10E Bosch Electric Cargo Bike [VIDEO & PICS]

xtracycle bosh edgerunner electric cargo bikeFor 2015 Xtracycle has joined forces with Bosch to bring their Edgerunner to market with the Bosch Performance Line mid drive system.

The new 10E will feature the Bosch 350 watt mid drive system with a center mounted 36V 11ah lithium battery.

Xtracycle’s message is “Ride bikes. Carry Stuff” and the new 10E definitely embodies that!

In addition to being utilitarian, the folks at Xtracycle also know how to have fun.

Lapierre Overvolt E-MTB’s & Riding with the Bosch Director [VIDEOS]

The Lapierre Overvolt FS900 full suspension electric mountain bike with Bosch mid drive system.

Lapierre is a French brand that is bringing their Bosch powered full suspension (FS900) and hardtail (HT900) electric mountain bikes to the US market for 2015.

I had a chance to ride the FS900 with Claus Fleischer, the director of the Bosch e-bike division, at the Interbike Outdoor Demo mountain bike trails.

The FS900 did an excellent job of handling the rough trails at Bootleg Canyon and it was a great way to get to know the director of Bosch; on the trails!

Claus said that he is excited about everything e-bike; from the sport style electric road and mountain bikes, to the commuter/touring bikes, to the utilitarian cargo bikes. Haibike XDURO FS RX Electric Bike Review [VIDEO]

Haibike FS RX trail 4A truly worthy off road electric bike has landed here in the US and it’s name is the Haibike XDURO FS RX!

The FS RX features the advanced Bosch Performance mid drive e-bike system, 120mm of front and rear suspension, a hydroformed aluminum frame, a solid mix of components (RockShox, Fox, Shimano, DT Swiss,  etc.) and the 27.5″ wheel size.

At $5,200 this is not an inexpensive bike but it does offer a lot of bang for the buck.
