In recent years there has been increased calls for bringing manufacturing back to the USA, and that includes the production of e-bikes. American-made products have a long history of being top quality, while also supporting American workers.
In this era of globalization, practically all products are made using parts that came from multiple countries. That means most USA companies can only say their products are “assembled in the USA,” instead of made in the USA.
It’s one thing to find a company where most of the bike is assembled and made in the USA, but what about getting that bike customized? If none of the stock colors suits your fancy, EBC will work with you in selecting a custom color, with near-limiteless color options available.

Buyers pay an additional fee for the paint customization, based on how extensive their choices are. Using high quality paint, EBC guarantees their paint work. But be sure to ask for the touch up paint kit, in case you get a scratch or chip during one of your adventures. The kit even comes with a “How To” guide making it easy for anyone to do touch up work.
But the customization isn’t limited to paint choices, as EBC customers have as many as 14 different components they can also choose from for their new e-bike.
Riders who want to be able to ride further on a single charge have a choice between four different battery configurations (on certain models) that can take them well beyond 100 miles on a single charge. Other customization options include changing the drivetrain, upgrading the suspension, switching grips, wheels and tires, as well as safety features like lights, and security features to prevent theft. Also available – and something we are big fans of – is EBC can swap out the cadence sensor with a torque sensor, so your pedaling experience is more robust and engaging.
