Doors first opened for MOD Bikes in October 2018. The company found Austin as an ideal place as it was bike-friendly and follows a green movement.
One thing we’ve learned from the MOD electric bike reviews we’ve done is that the bikes have careful attention to detail on performance. Many of the brake and hill tests we’ve conducted yielded pleasantly surprising results from MOD e-bikes which consumers will no doubt appreciate. MOD also does a good job of offering a mixed variety of price points. Their bikes come respectfully equipped with mid-tier components with prices that reflect the value of what you pay for. Riders will appreciate the flexibility to find a bike that is within a reasonable budget, provides a high payload capacity (up to 265 lbs) and models that can accommodate riders between 5’4 up to 7’1″.
