The BH Emotion Max 700 electric bike.
Here is a preview of the BH Emotion Max 700 electric bike that I recently had a chance to race around! This is a quick bike made for the zipping around city streets and long rides on country roads.
This post will give you an idea of the specifications of the bike along with a video and pictures that will highlight the features of this urban/touring electric bicycle.

The Emotion Max 700 is ready for the road!
The Emotion Max 700 uses the Panasonic 36V 12ah battery and 250 watt mid drive motor (behind the chain guard.)

The Emotion Max 700 that I rode had the Panasonic 36V 12ah lithium ion battery which is an upgrade from the standard 36V 8ah pack.
The new 36 volt Panasonic batteries are a little wider than the traditional Panasonic 26 volt batteries.

The Emotion Max 700 has a pretty simple display. High, medium and low pedal assist settings. This electric bike is pedal assist only (no throttle).
The Emotion Max 700 comes with the SR Suntour Swing suspension fork to take the edge off bumps and cracks in the road.
The Emotion Max 700 comes with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes front and rear.

Hey there. Thanks for the article, but where have all the images gone? 😉
I’ve had the pleasure to ride a BH emotion through the City of Berlin (Germany) and I can highly recommend to lend one on a dry & sunny day.
This sportive electric bike will definitely put a smile on your face without making you feel lazy at all. The fitness challenge is to keep up the great max speed once the motor assistance has faded at top speed.

I have the possibility to by a Max 700 from last year wich has only 8 gears on the rear derailleur.
11-32 instead of 11-34 What is the difference up-hill?
Hi Hubert, There really is not much difference. The 34 tooth cog will make climbing really steep hills a little easier. I wouldn’t worry about it.
Great looking bike. This would be the perfect bike for up here in the hill country. Good for both street and forest trails.
