  1. I think that this article should be titled “How to change a flat on any bike except for an electric bike.”
    Never once did they mention how a hub motor has a cable running out of it, or anything about extra Hardware on keeping the Hub motor from rotating on a front fork for instance. Every electric bike that I’ve changed a tire on requires extra steps beyond what this article addresses.

  2. The back tire is more likely to get a flat on a hub-drive bike. Changing the tube can be a lot more of a challenge due to the wires and weight of the wheel.
