February's Electric Bike Report T-Shirt Winner: Steve from Florida

This months Electric Bike T-shirt winner is Steve from Tampa Bay, Florida!  Steve won the T-shirt by becoming a member of the EBR community.

Steve runs an electric bike store in the Tampa Bay area.  He has just started logging all of his commute miles on his website.

I think that is a cool idea and I have been kicking around the idea of setting up a page on Electric Bike Report where we could share how many miles we are putting in on our electric bikes on a monthly basis.  What do you think?  Please leave your comments below.

Here is a place to find cycling computers to track your miles.

If you want to be entered in the monthly T-shirt drawing, join the Electric Bike Report community newsletter.

    Hi Pete

I think a e-bike riders page is an excellent idea. I feel that there are alot of us that are still lurking with an e-assist purchase because of questions concerning maintance – durability – user freindlyness – durability – – expected wear and tear of parts – – what size for what use – – best bang for the buck purchase – durability – – ease of self installation – – durability – – when to go to a professional installer for help – durability – – ohh – -did I mention durability “wink”. Long term mileage reports would greatly help with these for mentioned questions.

    Great website Pete ~

The more people see what we are actually doing mileage wise on our E-bikes, the more that they will be convinced that E-bikes are really practical and useful!! In 2008 June to October), I used my 2 recumbent bikes(only one was electric at that time, now both are) that a tank of gas(10 gal) lasted 4 1/2 months!! I use my bikes for >90% of my trips.
