Electric Trike from Trinity Environ

This is something new that I am trying. Everyday I come across cool electric bike stuff happening in the world and I want to share it with you. So I will be putting together one post a week just for electric bike news. I will still be doing other posts on ebike reviews, guides, videos, maintenance, etc. These news posts may be a combination of stuff that is currently happening as well as some info that is older news that I just stumble upon and want to share with you.
Well Kona has stepped up to the plate and is delivering 3 new electric bikes to the market for 2011. Their regular Ute has been on the market for a couple of years and has established itself as a nice cargo bike capable of hauling some groceries and other odds and ends. There have been pictures floating around the internet of Ute’s that had electric conversion kits added to haul the extra weight, but now for 2011 Kona is offering an “off the shelf” ready to go electric cargo bike.
How would you like to have sushi delivered to your door? By electric cargo bike no less! I just read an article about a sushi bar in Windsor Ontario that delivers sushi by electric bike because it’s easier to maneuver around the crowded city and it’s a good way to catch people’s attention.
