At the Interbike tradeshow in Las Vegas, the biking industry showed off some amazing technologies to make biking easier, safer, and more fun.

Of course, if you are someone who thinks that a bike should be two wheels and no frills, you can probably skip this.

Shiftless

One of the tricky parts of today’s many speed bikes is shifting. Many bikes have gear sets with 27 or more gears. Some have as many as 81 (three in front, three in an internal rear cassette, and nine on the rear hub).

Raleigh, Haibike, IZIP, & Yuba to Exhibit at Electric Bike Expo Events

The Expo is a 6 city series that offers free electric bike test rides on a track with a hill structure and various terrain features to allow riders to test a number of different electric bikes.

This group of e-bikes from Raleigh, Haibike, IZIP, and Yuba offer a wide variety of electric bike types for people to test ride: commuter, urban sport, beach cruiser, touring, fat, mountain bike, road bike, and cargo bike.

Shimano Sponsors “The Circuit” at Interbike

raleigh misceo electric mid driveShimano is serious about electric bikes and to make that point they recently stepped up to become the presenting sponsor of “The Circuit”, which is a new e-bike and conventional bike indoor test track at Interbike.

Interbike is the largest bicycle trade show in the Americas and it will be held this year at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas on September 16-18.
